Assistant Warehouse Manager

**Summary**: Directly oversees the production workforce responsible for the assembly and testing of product for the company. Supports management policies and directives in areas including on time delivery, quality control, and efficiency, safety, and education/training. **Salary** range is $62,000 to $65,000 annually depending on experience.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Assigns personnel to work areas based on current backlog and stock requirements.
- Oversees and coordinates production schedule to support on time delivery requirements.
- Provides assistance and expertise directly with production personnel when quality or testing issues arise.
- Supports management policies and directives.
- Provide production training and reinforcement.
- Coordinates with additional engineering and production resources as needed to implement changes.
- Tracks and logs data required to support company metrics.
- Oversees shipping and warehousing personnel.
- Coordinates overall logístical requirements and interactions with logistics suppliers
- Conducts yearly employee evaluations.
- Conducts accident investigations as required.
- Perform disciplinary investigations and actions when required.
- Supports overall safety system through implementation of assigned safety improvement projects.
- Conducts open box assessments of in house manufactured products.
- Direct supervision of hourly permanent and temporary workforce.
- Inspects work areas for compliance with housekeeping and 5S program.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum education: High School completion as a minimum. College education preferred in either an engineering or business discipline.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of 5S and lean concepts.
- Strong problem-solving capability.
- Ability to work both alone and in teams to meet objectives.
- Knowledge of Nice North America ERP systems and basic proficiency in inventory and bills of material.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated and eager to succeed.
