**Overview**

In the position of Warehouse Support - Outbound Operations, you will report to Distribution Centre Manager. The position supports all areas of the Distribution Centre including receiving, labeling/tagging, overall movement of inventory, picking/packing, transfers for distribution to our own corporate stores and shipping EComm orders.

As a Warehouse Support - Outbound Operations, you are responsible for supporting the OB Team Lead on the day-to-day warehouse activities of the Order Fulfillment/Shipping Team and ensuring outbound operations run seamlessly - This is a hands-on position, and you are expected to be an independent contributor.

Other Key Duties
- Help Outbound Team Lead in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of order fulfillment - EComm and store delivery operations.
- With focus on results, help and support the timely processing of transfer orders and warehouse commitments on effective and efficient weekly store deliveries - local, island and out-of-town stores
- Assist in loading/unloading of incoming/outgoing shipments for local stores
- Help support on building weekly OOT pallet shipments and ensure shipments are loaded correctly, securely and completed based on the store's weekly delivery schedule
- Utilize RF mobile device to process store transfer orders
- Monitor and report equipment damage and operational issues to the Outbound Team Lead or DC Manager
- Perform all assigned and other duties/projects in a safe, efficient, and productive manner
- Performs daily general housekeeping to keep the warehouse organized, clean and orderly at all times
- Please note that this role is not solely limited to the duties and responsibilities as outlined above and may change with the needs of the business or at the direction of the Manager

Physical Demands, Abilities and Skills
- 3+ years’ experience in distribution, warehouse, and/or in retail operations
- General knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions
- Previous experience in warehouse environment preferred.
- Regularly required to use full body movements when physically moving stock or regular work activities.
- Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50lbs; occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs via pallet jack
- Frequently required to stand in one place for extended periods, walk around the facility, stoop, kneel, or crouch, move up and down the ladder and use step stool, and push/pull wheeled carts
- Good team skills to be able to work with others.
- Good leadership skills.
- Ability to fully carry out instructions.
- Ability to manage temperament.
- Ability to multitask.
- Good knowledge of record keeping.
- Graduation from high school or equivalent.
- Functional reading, writing and math skills
- Written and verbal communication/instruction skills.

- Understanding of safety procedures and requirements

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
