**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in menu planning and suggest new dish ideas to enhance the dining experience
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food handling and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout shifts
- Handle food with care, ensuring quality presentation and portion control
- Support catering events and special functions as needed
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally to guests or servers
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy service periods
**Qualifications**
- Proven background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Prior restaurant or kitchen experience, especially in fine dining or catering settings
- Knowledge of the food industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and hygiene
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Culinary training or certification is preferred but not required
