**The Role**:
The Shell Scotford Chemicals and Energy Park is seeking for Turnaround Non-Routine Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Planners to join the team in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. The Non-Routine Turnaround Planner will work in a high performing team and is responsible for the development of all electrical and/or instrumentation detailed planning and scheduling deliverables for a single turnaround event work scope.

Please Note: 1 position is fulltime and 1 is fixed term two-year position to start with the possibility of extension or turning into a longer-term career opportunity.

**Accountabilities**:

- Follow the turnaround planning premise, work processes and instructions using the approved work instruction format
- Verify detailed work scope submissions and develops Primavera work scope activities, with craft type and estimated hours, and coding requirements
- Ensure work plans are fit for purpose and are integrated into the overall project file
- Create bill of material for assigned work, requisition materials, and ensure all materials are delivered within the milestone timeframe
- Assemble work packages as per defined work instruction
- Populate and maintain Primavera logístical plans for assigned area
- Collaborate with project planning team to ensure capital project scope is fully integrated into a single block plan within Primavera
- Communicate key issues and risks to the Master Planner and Senior Planner
- Assist in the management of turnaround files and records
- Accountable for updating and maintaining all planning tracking tools
- Seek out opportunities to optimize the turnaround scope and execution strategy.
- Participate in lessons learned and lookback processes
- Ensure compliance to site practices, policies and procedures including, but not limited to turnaround process, assurance activities, quality, and Safe Work Practices

**Skills & Requirements**
- Minimum of 5+years of Turnaround experience in Planning/Scheduling
- Education in a skilled trade or engineering is preferred but not required
- Must be proficient in Primavera.
- Ability to work with the following programs: Microsoft office and GSAP/SAP.
- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
