**Job Summary**:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will work closely with patients to provide basic care and assist them with activities of daily living. Your responsibilities will include assisting patients with bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility, as well as monitoring their vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff. Additionally, you will help with patient charting, maintain a clean and safe environment, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.

2. Help patients with mobility, including transferring them from beds to wheelchairs or assisting them with walking.

3. Monitor patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, and report any abnormalities to nursing staff.

4. Feed patients who need assistance with eating and ensure they receive adequate nutrition.

5. Provide emotional support to patients and their families, listening to their concerns and offering reassurance.

6. Assist nursing staff with medical procedures, such as wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection.

7. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including keeping patient rooms tidy and ensuring equipment is properly sanitized.

8. Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records.

9. Follow all facility policies and procedures, including infection control protocols and patient confidentiality guidelines.

10. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain CNA certification and stay current on best practices in patient care.

**Qualifications**:
1. Completion of a state-approved CNA training program and certification.

2. Current CPR certification.

3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

5. Compassion and empathy for patients and their families.

6. Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients safely.

7. Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting patient information.

8. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

9. Compliance with all state and federal regulations governing CNAs and healthcare facilities.

**Working Conditions**:

- Work primarily takes place in healthcare facilities such as hospitals, nursing homes, and long-term care facilities.
- May be exposed to infectious diseases and unpleasant sights, smells, and sounds.
- Requires frequent interaction with patients who may be in pain or distress.
