**Reports to**: Head Chef

**PRIMARY OBJECTIVES**:
A Mackie’s Place Baker is responsible for participating in baking for Mackie’s Pie Club and will carry out food preparation with the utmost care. Working closely with the Head Baker, Head Chef, and kitchen staff, the Baker will ensure that the kitchen is clean and organized, inventory is maintained, and pies are baked with the highest standards.

- ** High-Quality Food**: Plans and prepares delicious, high-quality baked goods. Maintains high standards for all pies being served. Works diligently to ensure that all Mackie’s Pie Club products are perfectly prepared.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Carrying out all kitchen-related tasks for Mackie’s Pie Club
- Together with the kitchen staff and youth bakers, preparing and baking all pies with excellence for Mackie’s Pie Club
- Preparing dry ingredient containers and frozen fruit portions
- Building and stamping pie boxes
- Packaging pies as needed
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, including storage spaces, fridges, and freezers
- Ensuring proper storage of all food and kitchen supplies
- Utilization of all Mackie’s Place administrative systems, including Google Drive, project planners, Google Calendar, etc. in order to access daily schedules and meal plans

**QUALIFICATIONS THAT ASSIST IN THIS POSITION**:
**- Food Safe certification
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Provincial Criminal Record Check for Children and Vulnerable Adults (mandatory upon hiring)**:
