Key objective
The Accounts Receivable Analyst will primarily be responsible for effectively managing the overall collection process per their assigned portfolio and fostering and maintaining strong business relationships with internal/external customers. It is also critical that the individual is analytical and demonstrates that they can proactively achieve individual and department goals and objectives.
Major responsibilities
- Manage the collection process for Agency Billed Premium Receivables for various levels of Chubb Cornerstone Producer accounts.
- Work closely with our Producer’s and Underwriter’s to identify and manage payment discrepancies; effectively escalate collection disputes and other issues that can hinder monthly cash flow expectations.
- Monitor and ensure that payments are detailed and allocated within the same accounting month to ensure that monthly Broker Statements are accurate.
- Proactively work towards achieving monthly targets and departmental collection goals with mínimal write offs and Over 90 Day balances.
- Build and foster positive customer service relationships with internal/external parties to better understand the various business segments to improve overall collections and process knowledge.
- Miscellaneous other tasks as assigned.
- Completion of College diploma /University degree in Commerce, Business Administration or Accounting.
- Minimum of two (2) years of professional work experience in Accounts Receivable P&C (Agency Bill) environment is highly desired.
- Strong critical thinking skills and aptitude for evaluating, analyzing and interpreting detailed information, including high degree of comfort in working with numbers.
- Intermediate or Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)
- Well organized, with high degree of initiative to prioritize, multi-task, maintain flexibility and ultimately meet and exceed deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated high level of responsiveness, customer service and efficiency when working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to highlight trends and\or issuesAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
