Carluke Orchards is a family-owned farm and bakery that has been serving the Ancaster community for over 40 years. Our on-farm bakery is known for made from scratch pies, butter tarts, scones and more. We are committed to using fresh, whole ingredients and hands on baking techniques to create treats that our customers love.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Bakery Manager to join our team. As a Bakery Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of our bakery, ensuring the production of high-quality baked goods while maintaining a positive and efficient work environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Staff Management**: Schedule, train, and supervise bakery staff.
- **Production Oversight**: Oversee the daily production of all baked goods.
- **Inventory Control**: Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies.
- **Quality Assurance**: Ensure adherence to food safety and high quality standards.
- **Workload Planning**: Plan and prioritize workloads to meet production goals.
- **Customer Service**: Interact with customers as needed to address any concerns or inquiries.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Proven management experience.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for baking and a commitment to quality.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
