**CNC Machinist**

**Overview**:
Our team is looking to hire a CNC Machinist. This position is full time, working onsite Monday-Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Full-time machinist for 3-axis CNC vertical mill in a tooling, prototyping and low production rate environment. Large ratio of setups to production pieces.
- Toolpath programming and work-holding set-up designs for jobs as required.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- 8 years minimum experience on 3 or 4-axis vertical mills
- 4 years minimum experience on CNC toolpath programming using either MasterCAM or SolidCAM
- Designing and using work holding jigs and soft tooling
- Taking solid model information from SolidWorks
- Good communication, both verbal and written (English)
- Be able to obtain and maintain a Controlled Goods Clearance

**Strong Assets**:

- Experience training and leading other machinists
- 3D surfacing
- Materials: aluminum, stainless steel, Inconel; experience specifying and using tools appropriate to these materials
- Understanding cutter compensation
- Modelling in SolidWorks
- Experience on manual lathe
