Yard Labourer

GB Stone Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working part time Yard Laborer to join our Yard & Customer Service Team this season. This role is a perfect fit for you if you thrive in an energetic outside work environment and possess strong communication and multi-tasking skills. If you are seeking a part time position for the fall season, we would love to hear from you Possibility of winter work which includes selling and loading winter salt products, which includes on call night shifts, not required but it is an option.

**Responsibilities**

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Loading customers (contractors and homeowners), picking orders from an order sheet.
- Working alone or as part of the yard team to accomplish various tasks to complete orders.
- Help keep areas of the yard clean on down time.
- Operate a smaller front end loader or forklift if suitable to accomplish tasks if needed.
- Helping customers find products in the yard and showing them around the display area.

**Requirements**:

- Must be available to work Saturdays.
- Basic quantitative skills and mathematical knowledge required.
- Strong reading and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Positive, go-getter attitude, with eagerness to be outside and active.
- Ability to manage a variety of tasks effectively, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
- Must be able to repeatedly lift 60+ lbs throughout the day.

**Assets**
- Knowledge of landscape and hardscape materials.
- Previous front end loader or forklift experience.
- Landscape industry experience.

**Job Types**: Seasonal, Part-time
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 44 per week
