We are seeking a **reliable, experienced, and motivated Crew Leader** to join our snow removal team for the upcoming winter season. The Crew Leader will be responsible not only for performing snow clearing duties but also for overseeing a small crew, ensuring that all work meets company quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Equipment yard located at KING & HIGHWAY 50 - no bus route, requires own car.
- Supervise and coordinate a crew of labourers and equipment operators during snow events.
- Ensure **sidewalks, driveways, and pedestrian areas** are cleared and treated according to company standards.
- Operate and oversee the safe use of equipment including **snow blowers, sidewalk machines, salt spreaders, and Kubota BX2680 with plow.**:

- Conduct **pre-operation inspections** and ensure all equipment is maintained and washed after snowfalls.
- Drive and operate **Ford F-250 pickup truck with 16' trailer**, including safe maneuvering and reversing in tight areas.
- Maintain consistent **communication with dispatch and management**, providing updates and progress reports.
- Ensure all crew members **follow health and safety policies and procedures.**:

- Monitor job quality and output, providing hands-on leadership and training as needed.
- Perform other related duties and support tasks throughout the winter season.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- **Minimum G2 Driver’s License** with a clean driver’s abstract.
- **2+ years of relevant experience**, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
- Must be **available on-call 24/7** for the duration of the contract.
- **Reliable, hardworking, and organized**, with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to **work long hours in challenging winter conditions.**:

- Must have a **cell phone with data** and ability to use maps and reporting apps.
