As the **Vice President of Finance**, your role is pivotal in upholding the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our company. This position plays a critical role in influencing the organization’s financial health and strategic direction. You will be at the forefront of managing essential financial operations while nurturing a culture of excellence and innovation within the finance team. This role is key to driving the company's performance and ensuring its long-term success. Reporting to the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, the **Vice President, Finance** will lead Corporate Accounting and Accounts Payable to deliver Sienna’s shared vision and to realize financial, operational and team performance.
**What you will be doing**:You will be a welcomed member of the Sienna Senior Leadership team, working proactively to drive best in class performance:
- Act as a strategic advisor to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Senior Executive Team, providing proactive insights and analyses on key initiatives with both immediate and long-term financial implications
- Manage and direct all aspects of Investor Relations, including the crafting and preparation of investor documents and materials for quarterly analyst calls
- Develop and organize documents and presentations for the Audit Committee meetings of the Board each quarter
- Build relationships with external auditors, ensuring thorough and efficient reviews of quarterly and annual audits
- Direct and coordinate all facets of accounting reporting and compliance for a publicly traded company
- Provide leadership to the corporate accounting team and manage the analysis of the company's overall consolidated financial performance
- Lead and mentor a team of high-caliber finance professionals, guiding them towards achieving both organizational and individual goals
- Oversee the Accounts Payable and Receivable processes for Sienna, incorporating industry best practices and technological advancements for increased efficiency
- Direct special projects, encompassing financial due diligence for corporate initiatives among other responsibilities
**Who you are**:
- Possesses an undergraduate degree in accounting or mathematics, or MBA, along with a CPA designation
- Have 12-15 years of progressive leadership experience in public accounting, corporate finance, or process improvement
- An exceptional leader with operational knowledge, strong business insight, and a proven ability to forge relationships, achieve results, and enhance both organizational and team performance
- You have exceptional communication skills, capable of analyzing data and clearly conveying complex information and recommendations in an easily understandable manner, both orally and in writing
- A collaborative senior leader who values diverse perspectives, can influence business decisions, and adapt their leadership approach to overcome challenges
