**What you'll be doing**:

- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy after conducting competitive research, platform determination, messaging, and audience identification
- Plan, create, publish, and share new content (including original text, images, video) to build meaningful customer connections, increase brand awareness and encourage community members to engage with the brand
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop social media campaigns
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
- Moderate user-generated content in line with the moderation policy on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
- Collaborate with sales, digital marketing, customer relations and product development teams to generate engaging social media content
- Manage production of assets required to deliver on monthly content calendar: work with internal departments to review/approve content as well as copy and creative
- Capture and analyze the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and social media best practices to measure the success of every social media campaign, then use that information to refine future campaigns
- Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing

**What you'll need to be successful**:
**Must haves**:

- Minimum of 3 years' experience in social media
- Strong business and personal social media acumen - actively participate on social media, demonstrable knowledge of evolving digital communications landscape
- Exceptional written, digital communication, and customer service skills in English
- Resourceful, hands-on self-starter with a strong work ethic and a collaborative, team-oriented style
- Passionate user of social media & digital technologies; knowledge of social media best practices (hashtags, UTM's, etc.)
- Self-motived and result-oriented
- Creative, innovative, entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

**Nice to haves**:

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with web analytics (Google Analytics)
- Experience working knowledge of Hootsuite, WordPress, Salesforce, Jira or Pardot an asset
