**What You’ll Do**

As our Financial Controller, you’ll lead with impact by:

- **Delivering Precision**: Oversee the accurate preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- **Providing Strategic Insights**: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, empowering the leadership team to make informed decisions.
- **Strengthening Controls**: Develop robust internal systems and processes to safeguard assets and minimize risk.
- **Leading the Team**: Mentor and manage the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- **Optimizing Processes**: Refine ERP systems, streamline operations, and drive efficiencies in financial reporting.
- **Collaborating Across Teams**: Partner with project managers and leadership to align financial strategies with operational goals.

**What We’re Looking For**

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA designation required).
- **Experience**: 8+ years in progressive accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- **Skills**: Advanced knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, ERP systems, and financial modelling tools. Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
- **Industry Knowledge**: Experience in construction finance, project budgeting, and margin analysis is a strong asset.
