As we continue to grow our national brand, we are seeking a self-motivated and experienced **Financial Controller** tomanage all financial operations.

**Position Summary**

The **Financial Controller** reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations independently. This role will focus on day-to-day accounting, financial planning and analysis, and internal controls while ensuring the company's financial health and sustainability.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including tax filings (GST, PST, QST) and financial audits
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to support operational needs
- Oversee accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and payroll functions
- Continue to develop and implement financial strategies that support company growth and profitability
- Analyze financial data, provide insights, and support executive decision-making
- Develop internal financial controls and ensure adherence to policies and procedures
- Manage and optimize ERP system use for financial efficiency, specifically within Microsoft Dynamics: Business Central.
- Maintain a deep understanding of COGS on a SKU level
- Analyze Power BI reports to extract meaningful insights from our sales, inventory, and financial data
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications and Expectations**
- CPA designation (or equivalent) is required
- 3+ years of experience in an accounting or financial management role
- Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and tax regulations
- Experience in the cannabis industry, manufacturing or CPG sector is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365: Business Central is preferred
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
- High attention to detail with a commitment to financial accuracy and integrity
- Ability to work independently and manage all financial functions without a team
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to financial management
- Strong understanding of COGS

**Work Conditions**
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, In-Office
- Location: Saskatoon, SK

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
