Production Artist

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Production Artist to join our production, Marketing team in Langley, BC.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will act as the final checkpoint in the creative design process and provide support to the creative, graphics, and photography teams in producing print and web-ready files.

You will be responsible for:- Placing text and images into predesigned layouts.- Proofing marketing materials, including zoning (versions), for accuracy.- Creating layouts for different forms of advertisement.- Liaising with various teams including creative, photographers, merchandising, and external suppliers such as print houses.- Ensuring consistent adherence to graphic/layout design, branding, and production standards.

You have:
- A post-secondary education in Graphic Design.- 2 years of work experience in graphic design and layouts for print and digital media.- Sound knowledge of print media methodologies such as design and printing processes.- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat.- Strong typographic and layout skills.

- Detail Oriented.- Very organized with strong planning abilities.- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal.- A self-starting team player.- Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.- Able to prioritize urgent work while maintaining accuracy.- A multitasker with the ability to work on multiple files at different stages of production.

Compensation Details:
$46,000.00 - $57,500.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
