Customer service Member Services Associate

SUMMARY Reporting to the Association Manager, the Member Services Associate will assist in managing the administrative and operational services of Wildwood by the Severn, located in the Port Severn Ontario. The Member Services Associate will work work the front counter, and work within the policies and procedures established by the Port Severn Campers Association board of directors. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assists in administering the daily operations of Wildwood by the Severn. Act as first point of contact, greeting Members and guests as they enter the park, answering, screening calls, and responding to inquiries. Responsible for facility reservations and will allocate and physically designate applicable sites as requested. Assists in the collection of fees and issues receipts to all patrons. Ensure the site welcomes visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Assists in the co-ordination and set up of special events Assists Promote additional Tourism information to visitors at all sites; Assist in strengthening partnerships and relationships with local community attractions and businesses. Assist in receiving, recording and reporting all revenue. Assists in updating and maintaining inventory of all equipment and supplies associated with Wildwood by the Severn. Assist with light maintenance activities such as common area facilities care, pool open and close and inspection, painting, cleaning and facility clean up. Work flexible hours, i.e. weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays Perform other administrative duties as required.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge of the local area, Professionally represent and promote our community while building relationships and networking with outside agencies, not for profit entities and other resources. Ability to handle the public with tact, discretion, and with a pleasing personality. Work independently or as a team member, with mínimal supervision Proactive with time management Ability to problem solve and anticipate needs of visitors and peers Reliable, responsible and accountable A strong work ethic with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
The ability to perform well under pressure and to assess and prioritize workload
Experience with POS system, cash management, retrieving filed paper work.
This role will be responsible to help to manage and update the community social media accounts ( Instagram, facebook, Twitter) and update and send out the community weekly newsletter. Plan and assist with Association community events, bbqs, fun activities.
Responsible, bondable, this position will require a police check prior to starting in the role.

**Salary**: $16.00-$16.25 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekend availability

- Port Severn, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
