Reporting to the Manager, In-Flight Services, the Cabin Crew Training Planner is responsible for all yearly, monthly, and daily training planning for all Cabin Crew. They will work alongside the Crew Planners and the In-flight department with the use of the Navblue PBS system for cabin crew training bidding, and the Navblue Ops & Crew (N-OC) system for plotting and tracking cabin crew training.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Projections and planning for all Cabin Crew Training;Tracking and managing the scheduling of all Initial, Recurrent, Requalification and Purser Upgrade Training, including classrooms, instructors, resources, etc.Coordination with various internal departments and with external vendors for training they provide to Porter Airlines’ Cabin CrewCoordination with the Supervisor, Training Planning on all matters related to training;Managing the seniority training bid via the crew bidding software (Navblue PBS);Plan, plot and manage all Upgrade and Initial Line Indoctrination cabin crew training using crew management software (N-OC);Liaise with Transport Canada to request extensions on training as required;-
Coordinate with Inflight Administrator to help ensure training records are up-to-date and accurate; including conducting and assisting in audits;Monitor currency of Cabin Crew in consultation with Inflight internal procedures as well as standard Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs);Assist with preparations of the annual budgets;Providing courtesy reminders to the cabin crew and make training schedules available on-line;Input scheduling and pay changes in crew scheduling software;Occasional availability outside of regular office hours when necessary;Actively participates in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy;
- Additional duties as assigned by the Manager, Crew Resources.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Ability to work well under pressure and set prioritiesFull knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, general computer and database software knowledgeExperience as a Crew Scheduler/Planner an asset (or other relevant planning or operations experience)Knowledge of crew management and preferential bidding software (i.e. CrewTrac, FLICA preferred, but not required)Knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations related to flight crewProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite/Shared Drives/GmailStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time managementSuperior interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skillsExcellent decision-making abilitySelf-starter with high motivationImpartiality, integrity, tenacity, diplomacy and self-reliance are key attributesAbility to work well independently and as part of a cohesive unitPositive customer-focused attitude, excellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong technology background preferred
