Are you an experienced Security Officer with a valid BC Security Worker’s License looking to work with a dedicated, Vancouver Island-based team?

Or

Course run in Nanaimo ONLY (1 WEEK Monday to Friday in person class 0830-1630)

**Required Qualifications and Skills**:

- Critical thinker
- Ability to use computers and smartphones with ease
- **Must be physically fit with the ability to stand and walk patrols, climb stairs, etc;**:

- A calm demeanor and sound decision-making skills
- Provide a visual security presence around businesses;
- Outstanding dress and hygiene
- **Must be comfortable interacting with homeless population and street culture,**
- Position is as a SAFETY AMBASSADOR client liaison, response and customer service
- Observe, record, and report activities and security incidents while on shift;
- Proficient in the English language (verbal & written)
- A calm demeanor and sound decision-making skills;
- **Able to do foot patrol and stand for long periods of time**:

- Able to complete high-quality reports
- Top-notch customer service, with previous experience, considered a strong asset
- Professional approach to role; acting in a disciplined, honest and ethical manner
- Comfortable working alone or with a diverse team
- Perform site checks on different company or project locations internal and external
- Must be able to follow procedure and set routines effectively
- Strong observation and communication skills
