Queens Cross Liquor Store is hiring Full or Part-Time Store Clerks

Pay starts at $18.00 per hour plus tips ($30+ per shift). You will get a discount at the liquor store & discount on food at our attached pub. Shift are primarily 3:45pm-11:15pm with some Day or swing shifts possible.

Rate of pay is negotiable with experience.

Responsibilities include;
Serving customers:
Interacting with customers, product queries, making product suggestions, ringing customers up at the register, noting special product requests.

Store maintenance:
Maintaining the general cleanliness of the store, ensuring shelves are continuously stocked, receiving orders and organizing excess stock in storage areas and creating an inviting experience for customers.

Liquor Service:
Serving customers in accordance with the provincial liquor laws including performing ID checks and refusing service if required. Serving it Right Certificate is required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Aged 19+
Serving It Right Certification
Good communication skills.
Strong customer service skills to provide patrons with a great experience.
Confidence in processing cash and card payments.
Ability to lift ~50lbs (approximate weight of box of wine etc.)
Able to work evenings and weekends

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Previous retail or hospitality experience

Knowledge of products (wine, beer, spirits)

Located in North Vancouver
