**Job Description**:
**AECOM **is seeking an Infrastructure Risk Consulting and Decision Support Practice Lead. This position can be based out of any of our Canadian offices.
Major Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall development and implementation of standardized Risk Management activities that are well versed with latest Market sector leads and trends for Various Programs within Buildings and Places, Transportation, Water, Environmental, and Nuclear Services Business Lines.
- Leading reviews of program/project issues, and developing risk mitigation strategies and claims avoidance policy, strategy, and objectives.
- Acting as a business consultant to identify the core requirements of the data Risk Management landscape and acting as a trusted adviser to a variety of internal and external (Service Lines, functional teams) stakeholders.
- Working with Business Line leadership in implementing the overall vision for the Risk Management function and effectively and consistently communicating Risk Management offerings and policy processes to other regional Services Lines and functional teams.
- Leading the execution and maintenance of Risk Management service framework, including data use case execution that reflect project/program direction and opportunities.
- Pursuing and building relationships across business, gathering intelligence, and bringing insight about the wider capital project landscape.
- Effectively building, managing and delegating work to team consisting of Senior and Junior Risk Analysts to ensure successful project/program delivery.
- Promoting strategic direction of the department to align with overall Business Line and regional objectives.
- Recognizing and managing risks in area of responsibility, putting in place appropriate mitigation plans and communicating these to avoid surprises with key stakeholders.
- Providing formal and informal coaching on-the-job to grow team members to their full potential.
- Delivering results through executive presence, and others by leveraging the ability to lead through influence.
- Running Risk Workshops to gather requirements and gain consensus
- Working with a multitude of different people - including business customers, Functional managers, project managers and engineers - to balance demands.
- Constructively challenging requirements and current state to increase overall value to the firm.
In this role the individual should be able to review and guide the work of junior and senior risk analysts including but not limited to:
- Act as a business consultant to identify the core requirements of the data construction risk management landscape and act as a trusted advisor to a variety of stakeholders internal and external (Service lines, functional teams).
- Act as an advisor for projects in the area of Construction Risk Management, including but not limited to: when/how to do a formal risk assessment, develop and organize risk mitigation plans and develop tracking mechanisms
