**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet patients and visitors warmly at the front desk, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage phone systems, answering calls promptly and directing inquiries to the appropriate staff.
- Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for medical professionals.
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details, for electronic medical records.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records using systems like Epic and Dentrix.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient patient flow within the office.
- Handle correspondence and communication between patients and medical staff.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the office.
- Previous experience in a medical office or similar administrative role is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, particularly Epic or Dentrix, is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and phone systems effectively.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
