**Job description**

Founded in 1925 and a leader in the production of Stainless Steels, Nickel Alloys and Titanium Long products, Valbruna is a private company with 2,500 employees and an annual output of approx. 200,000 tons of specialty steels. Production is primarily focused on Stainless Steels and Specialty Alloys, available in blooms and billets, ingots, round, square, flat, hexagonal and angle bars, wire rod, wire, reinforcement bars and threaded rods, with the expressed goal of satisfying the most sophisticated needs of the customer. Our Canadian division Valbruna Canada, based out of Milton, Ontario is seeking a Logistics Assistant.
- To assist the Traffic Manager in all areas of the Transportation Department
- Preparation of documents and scheduling of transportation carriers
- Stocking in of incoming material
- Generating customer invoices
- Maintenance of logistics reports
- Other duties as assigned

**Other Requirements**:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and team player
- Detail oriented, highly organized, proactive with a strong sense of urgency
- Strong ability to problem solve
- Proficient computer skills
- Experience with transportation and/or the steel industry is an asset

**Required Education**:

- Minimum high school diploma

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
