Must be positive, energetic, and able work well under pressure. Excellent communication skills, numeracy, logical thinking, task planning, initiative, organizing and prioritizing, significant memory use, computer use, and continuous learning is required. Exceptional people skills, patience and understanding of the customers’ needs and customer service experience is a must. Must also be dependable and punctual.

Preference will be given to applicants that have the ability to install and program DSC and NEO Control Panels.

The following skill sets are desired:
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Ability to complete work in a timely and efficient manner. Excellent listening and both written and oral communication skills to relate to customers, suppliers and staff.

Experience with and/or ability to program, install, service and maintain a wide range of security systems - including IP Camera Systems, Intercoms, Electronic Gates, Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarm Monitoring, etc.

Ability to set up workstations with DVR/NVR systems and necessary peripheral devices (E-Links, GSMs, etc.) including installation of Apps on client’s mobile devices, ensuring connectivity. Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computerized equipment.

Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, reinstall software, etc.)

Manual labour - physically lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing and working at heights, working in various climates and in inclement weather, in confined areas, in dusty areas.

Employee-owned basic tools and safety equipment are required. Must conform to health and safety policies including safety footwear, hard hats, safety eye wear, and hearing protection.

Current drivers license required. Applicant must supply clean driver’s abstract and clean criminal background check.
