Reporting to the Director, FP&A, the Manager, Strategic Decision Support provides proactive business financial guidance to support corporate strategies through driving financial excellence, expertise, performance insight, strategic resource allocation, strategic opportunity identification and assessment, ongoing development and monitoring of performance against goals, and post-implementation reviews.

- Develop, create and continue to enhance long-term financial outlook models that incorporate competitive intelligence, geographic and economic data trends while integrating automated data predictions for long-term revenue growth modelling, sales cannibalization and revenue optimization strategies that align with corporate strategy and accelerate resource allocation decisions
- Develop, maintain and continue to enhance scalable, efficient financial models incorporating technology and qualitative and quantitative data that allow for quick multi-scenario strategic plans to lead financial excellence and improve visibility to important metrics and financial performance to support corporate growth strategies
- Develop in-depth knowledge and use the best costing techniques to better understand our cost structure and continue to seek opportunities to improve our cost structure to promote better and faster costing and pricing decisions
- Lead development and maintenance of scalable business case models and use the best standard business case templates incorporating risks, industry analysis and competitive strategy, growth and recommendations that can be adapted to different investment opportunities to support faster strategic resource allocation and prioritization decisions
- Lead the development and design of scalable and agile processes and financial models to promote enhanced and quicker investment evaluations including hurdle rate determination, sensitivity analysis, payback, while incorporating risk elements into the models and considering opportunity cost that aligns with strategy and development and monitoring of post implementation review
- Strategic financial advisor to Executive team, head of strategy and management on investment allocation decisions to support corporate strategies with proactive feedback for course correction through the development and ongoing monitoring of Operational Metrics and Measurements to recommend changes and course correct to ensure accomplishment of department and corporate goals.
- Lead a team of Sr. Financial Analysts responsible for supporting the Strategic Decision Support function, with developing scalable models for multi-scenario strategic planning, ongoing performance monitoring and analysis with business insights, and automated management reporting with documented insights to identify strategic opportunities to protect and accelerate business growth based on trends
- Support complex decisions, test hypotheses about strategic problems and measure risk and opportunity costs, even when outside core job responsibilities

**Must-have...**
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/ Commerce/ Accounting/ Finance or a related field of study
- Professional designation (CPA, CFA) or MBA would be considered an asset or Equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution
- Minimum 5 years of experience in senior role in Finance or Business-related area is required with 3+ years of leadership/ people management experience
- Strong abilities with financial planning, modelling, forecasting and analysis
- Advanced to expert proficiency required in Excel and PowerPoint with experience building Excel Models and Reports and PowerPoint presentations.
- Have the ability to interpret and comprehend the complex data to support decision-making
- High degree of initiative and innovation required to adapt to changing business user needs and marketplace
- Strong management and communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of staff and management with varying degrees of financial knowledge
