Job description:

As a First Cook, the qualified individual would be responsible for preparing food items as required for breakfasts, luncheons, dinners, specials, buffets and events. We would like to talk about your full-time availability and your potential future here with us.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Prepare food in accordance with club recipes, quality, portion and presentation standards
- Prepare meats and seafood for line and special functions
- Prepare all sauces, stocks and soups
- Cut, trim, bone and shape all meats
- Consistently use safe and sanitary food handling practices
- Ensure that all food products are rotated and used on a timely basis
- Cover, date and properly store all products
- Maintain security and safety in work areas
- Maintain a neat professional appearance and strict personal hygiene
- Adhere to health and safety regulations

Compensation: $22.32 per hour + gratuity ($2.5-$5 per hour), 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts (day/evening/night), overtime available.

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 4 years (required) and Culinary Degree an asset

License/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (required)
