**About the Role**:
In this role you will:
- Direct and supervise Care and Maintenance contractors at the Elliot Lake Legacy Assets.
- Facilitate the planning, control, execution, monitoring and improvement of site operations, and maintenance including but not limited to: water treatment plants, surface and groundwater monitoring programs and infrastructure, tailings storage facilities, legacy mine infrastructure etc.
- Support team coordination, reporting, planning and risk management activities
- Contributes to the preparation of budgets.
- Compliance with all local legislation and regulations, Group Level Documents and local
- asset procedures including safety, health, environment and community.
- Contribute to the risk management processes for the Canada team through engagement with site staff, technical expertise and functional support.
- Drive improvement initiatives on behalf of the Canada Manager and Operations Superintendent.
- Engage with multiple stakeholders including local community groups in the planning and execution of activities.
- Ensure that employees, contractors and sub-contractors follow and have actions that support compliance with HSEC principals and the Legacy Assets HSE framework. Ensure that all work is executed safely and according to design with the goal of zero harm to personnel and environment.
**About You**:
- In depth understanding of water treatment and management practices.
- Understanding of mine tailings operation, maintenance and surveillance practices.
- Operating field experience including safety and supervision of small to medium size projects.
- Solid interpersonal skills including an ability to interact and communicate professionally and respectfully with site staff, functional
- support teams, and regulatory agency representatives.
- Bilingual, French and English, is preferred.
- Availability to work at the site.
