At SUNRISE KITCHENS, our people are our greatest assets. We require an individual to join our excellent team in our state-of-the-art facility as a Class 1 Delivery Driver. Our company has a brand new, updated fleet, including 30 vehicles. As a part of the Logistics Team, you will ensure day to day productivity is maintained and operations are uninterrupted. You will work with the delivery and shipping team to ensure finished goods are ready to be transported on the trucks and to clients. Job entails handling finished goods on trucks and off loading at our customers, driving 5-ton trucks and trailers, and helping with required tasks in Delivery Department.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

In this position, you will be responsible for the following:

- Responsible for driving in a safe and timely manner
- Deliver order at builder construction sites in a safe and professional manner without damage to property or product
- Exhibit teamwork and organizational skills on-site and while expediting product
- Performing the pre-trip check up on the Truck
- Ensure all work performed adheres to company policies and regulations, codes and specifications
- Regular cleaning and maintenance of the vehicle
- Practice Kaizen mindfulness by attending all Kaizen team meetings in the department

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Valid class 1 BC Driver License with a clean driving record
- Must have at least 3 years of Manual Class 1 driving experience
- Physically fit to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated communication skills in English (read/write/speak)
- Good customer service skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced team driven environment
- Problem solver and identify solutions

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
