**Location**: Lower Mainland, BC

TRICOM Truck Shuttle is seeking an experienced **Class 1 Commercial Truck Driver** to join our professional team. This role is best suited for an experienced driver (including semi-retired professionals) with strong knowledge of Lower Mainland roads and basic mechanical skills.

**Schedule Requirement**:
This position requires availability to work a set shift of **Friday through Tuesday**, including weekends. Ability to work weekends is an absolute requirement for this current position.

**About the Role**:
You will be responsible for safely and efficiently shuttling customer trucks between locations while upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This position averages **30-40 hours per week**, with fluctuations during peak and slower periods. Tow or mechanical experience—or the willingness to learn—is required. Compensation is **$30-$35 per hour (per-job basis)**, depending on experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Safely shuttle customer trucks between designated locations
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Perform daily vehicle inspections
- Operate manual transmission (10-speed or higher)
- Use GPS/navigation effectively
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers

**Requirements**:

- Valid **Class 1 Driver’s License**:

- Clean driving abstract
- Minimum **5 years of experience driving in Canada. No Exceptions**:

- Strong knowledge of BC highways and Lower Mainland roads
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to work independently and professionally
- Availability **Friday to Tuesday (weekends required)**:

- Pre-employment screening: criminal background check, employment verification, and driving records
