Gis Technician

Over the past 21 years we have expanded our services from Environmental, to offer GIS / Remote Sensing, Construction Management, and Multimedia, Marketing and Communications, through our 4 divisions.
**Responsibilities**:
- Research and assembly of spatial data into a GIS
- Spatial data processing
- Analysis and interpretation of spatial data
- Cartographic map presentation
- Participation in field-based studies
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Geography, GIS, Geomatics, or a related field of study
- High attention to detail
- Willingness to learn, solve problems, and show initiative
- Positive attitude and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Valid driver’s license
**Asset Qualifications/Experience (not required)**:
- Experience working with 3D point cloud data
- ArcGIS Online experience (Experience Builder, Scene Viewer, etc.)
- Proficiency in technical report writing
- Python experience
- CAD experience
- Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) Advanced Operations Certification
