**The Opportunity**

We are looking for individuals to fill the role of **Material Handler**_**.**_

**Shift**: Multiple (Days-1, Nights-2)

**Scope**

To ensure that bins for stampings are labelled properly and available for shipment to the platers or the assembly line on a timely basis.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare bar code labels for bins of material.
- Remove full bins of stamped parts from the press to designated area.
- Placing empty bins at press as required.
- Ensure general safety guidelines (forklift check list) are adhered to.
- Always maintain a clean, tidy and organize Empty bin area.
- Report any damaged bins and bin cars.
- Participate in continuous improvement program.
- Adopt and practice Kaizen Principles and Concepts.
- Participate in Kaizen and GEAR activities.

**Requirements**:

- Equivalent of Grade 12 or equivalent work experience.
- Valid forklift license is preferred (or equivalent).
- Experience with bar coding.
- Experience using overhead crane is an asset.
- Ability to interact with all levels of employees in a multicultural and fast paced environment.

**Salary**: Up to $26.90 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

- Concord, ON L4K 4Y9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Forklift: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
