**Project Assistant (Site Based)**

The Project Assistant is a field-based support role responsible for assisting the Site Supervisor and Senior Site Superintendent with daily construction activities. This role works in close collaboration with the Sr. Project Coordinator and Construction Administrative Assistant to ensure field execution, site readiness, and communication between office and site teams. The Project Assistant supports construction progress through task coordination, on-site communication, basic documentation, and trade follow-up. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone looking to grow within the construction industry while gaining direct site experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support daily on-site operations under the direction of the Sr. Site Superintendent and Site Supervisor.
- Coordinate trade access and communicate daily priorities and expectations to on-site workers.
- Track delivery schedules, verify quantities received, and report discrepancies.
- Maintain daily site logs, including work activities, trade attendance, and weather conditions.
- Post current drawings, memos, and safety signage in designated site locations.
- Assist in preparing for inspections, coordinating clean-up efforts, and identifying deficiencies.
- Capture and submit photo documentation of progress, deficiencies, and completed work.
- Relay field updates and unresolved items to the Sr. Project Coordinator for follow-up.
- Collaborate with the Construction Administrative Assistant by submitting completed forms, delivery slips, and field-collected documentation.
- Maintain general site cleanliness, help manage site office organization, and ensure required PPE and signage are in place.

**Experience**:

- 1-2 years of experience in construction or a related field preferred.
- Comfortable working on active construction sites and outdoors in varying conditions.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to read construction drawings and follow direction from site leadership (training available).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel); experience with construction software considered an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Willingness to grow and learn within a team-oriented construction environment
