**Summary of the role**:
Your role as a Team Leader is to close sales of our business solutions with merchants throughout the GTA area. You will work closely with your manager to set appointments with business owners over the phone, face-to-face, through your network, and via referral partnerships that you build. You will then run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present GPC solutions to close sales in our target vertical markets (restaurants, retail, medical, lodging, auto repair, salons, etc.). You will also assist and coach your team of BDRs through side-by side & remote coaching. This role involves 3 days of prospecting/coaching on the field and 2 days from home.

**What you will do**:

- Prospecting for and running dynamic sales presentations
- Explaining our value proposition to clients
- Closing sales of our payment processing services
- Educating merchants and business owners on the payment processing industry
- Maintaining regular communication with your Manager
- Training and coaching BDRs that report to you
- Locally networking to find professional sales reps to join your team

**What we’re looking for**:

- Bachelor’s degree, with focus on Business, Sales or Marketing
- Minimum of 3 years of B2B Sales experience
- Relevant people management experience in a sales/support environment
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Proven success record to overachieve assigned sales metrics
- Strong cold calling sales skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Must be a highly organized, focused individual who excels in relationship building, which is critical to the success of this position.
- Professional, driven, self-starter with strong interpersonal skills is a must to succeed in this role.
- Previous experience in the payment processing industry is valued
