Supply Chain Team Lead

**The team**:
You will be part of a dynamic Purchasing team managing our global spend to cover all Genetec activities, to deploy our procurement solutions in a timely manner providing best-in-class customer experience. This role is not in a production facility so there will be limited exposure to the product.

You will be supported by an experienced and motivated team to develop your skills at Genetec and thrive within the organization. We want you to succeed

**What your day will look like**:

- Drive the Supply Chain continuous improvement initiatives as it relates to purchasing, quality control, warehousing, sales, customer service, shipment tracking and overall efficiency in execution
- Develop KPIs to help the team bring sustainable and measurable improvements
- Support the Supply Chain Specialists with matters related to inventory requirements, planning, sales forecasts and supplier management
- Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers and distribution centers to validate inventory levels and bring necessary adjustments
- Maintain clear communication & close co-operation with Customer Service, Sales, Purchasing, Production and Logistics and resolve issues relating to Supply Chain
- Work with the Sales organization and key vendors to develop and implement efficient supply chain procedures
- Coordinate and handle administrative tasks as it relates to the above responsibilities

**About you**:

- You have proven experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor
- Relevant Supply Chain experience
- Experience with purchasing processes
- Manage relationships internally/externally and improve processes with key suppliers
- Able to communicate and present precise information to internal/external customers and leadership
- Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Experience using an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system
