**The Role**:
This position is responsible for process adjustments to maintain quality standards, troubleshooting, scrap reduction, robot setup, and minor mechanical repairs.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Willing to train somebody who is capable, honest, reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking.
- Perform and direct the mold and material changing processes using crane and forklift and ensure necessary documentation is completed after mould change. Also, set up robotics.
- Start up the machine & establish process parameters and measures critical characteristics for part conformance.
- Maintain accurate records of tests and results.
- Perform troubleshooting of problem concerns by identifying the true root cause
- Work with Quality & production team to ensure molded parts meet requirements and make adjustments as needed.
- Prepare materials based on orders for all machines.
- Work with maintenance team to identify machine related issues and tool room to identify mold related issues.
- Participate and lead training initiatives improve personal and co-worker.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Always maintain 5S standards.
- Other tasks as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Experience in mould installation on injection moulding machine and setup process for production is preferred.
- Understanding of process change management.
- Ability to read and interpret operating procedures.
- Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office products.
- Experience in automotive industry considered an asset.

**Working conditions**

This position requires continuous walking throughout the plant. Temperature may be warm at times when working in and around the machines.

**Physical requirements**

This position may require lifting and/or pushing at times which may weigh up to and including 25 kg.

**The Shift**:

- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Rotating Shift
- Day shift (7 am
- 3pm
- Monday
- Friday)
- Afternoon shift (3 pm-11 pm
- Monday-Friday)
- Midnight shift (11 pm-7:00am
- Sunday-Thursday)

**Wage**:

- **$23 an hour, $24 after probation.**:

- Competitive wages

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
