Overall Accountability

The School Assistant supports students and teachers and assists with clerical support to administration, personnel, parents and students.

Specific Accountabilities- Assists teachers in the delivery of instruction- Prepares materials, constructs and assembles displays, duplicates and distributes educational materials- Supports personnel with filing, transportation passes, mail, faxes and other clerical duties- Duplicates and distributes other school materials

Qualifications- Category 2 - High School Diploma- Category 3 - Diploma/certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution or the equivalent of a minimum of one (1) year post-secondary course study preferred- Proficient with Microsoft Office- Good communication, organization and interpersonal skills
