**Job Summary**:
The Formulations Lab Assistant supports the Formulation team by conducting physical testing of raw materials, all while taking into consideration the company’s commitment to our seven core values such as Sustainability (people, planet, and profit) in the planning and implementation of all actions related to the area of responsibility.

**Responsibilities**:

- Check inventory system for raw material lots and arrange for sample collection.
- Perform bulk and tapped density, particle size distribution and flow tests, for various raw materials
- Record collected data and analyze to identify related trends.
- Follow and adhere to all given instructions including work procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Strictly adhere to and observe all safety policies as outlined in the company policies and training sessions.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:
Technical
- In progress in a recognized university program in Chemistry or Food Science/Technology
- Extreme accuracy, attention to details and precision in a lab environment
- Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and validation techniques is an asset
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate productively with employees at all levels in the organization
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent organization and decision-making skills
