We have an immediate opening for an experienced **Recruiter**for our Canadian and U.S. operations. This role will have the opportunity to work remotely and have flexible hours upon negotiation.
**High-level Responsibilities include**:
- **Strategic Talent Planning**: Collaborate with management to assess staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- **Support for Broader HR Functions**: Provide general HR support as needed, including compliance with employment standards, employee relations inquiries, and policy guidance.
- **Internal Service Delivery**: Act as a key HR contact, providing prompt and professional support to internal stakeholders while ensuring confidentiality and responsiveness.
**Qualifications**:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, or equivalent
- 5-7 + years Experience in a Recruiting Role
- General Human Resources Experience an Asset
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment standards and Human Rights Legislation
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated, self-starter, adapts easily to change
- A sense of urgency, confidentiality, and integrity
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to work with a large amount of data
**Preferred Skills**
- RPR Designation
- Experience with recruiting for Construction or Commercial Construction Industries
- An understanding of Human Resource concepts, policies, and administrative procedures
