**Synopsis of the role**
As a Disaster Recovery Risk Analyst at Equifax, you will be a member of the Equifax Global Business Continuity team that has knowledge in industry best practices for Business Continuity Management and experience in developing and executing Disaster Recovery strategies. You will be responsible for the coordination and facilitation of recovery efforts for IT services should an Equifax technical site (data center or public cloud provider) experience a disaster as well as coordination of required disaster recovery exercises.
The Disaster Recovery Risk Analyst will also oversee the creation, development and maintenance of disaster recovery plans, ensuring plans are actionable and accurate and that they adhere to the Equifax DR Policy and Standards and Equifax BCD Controls.
**What you’ll do**
- Assist with the planning, coordinating, and execution of DR exercises and/or actual events
- Assist in executing a problem tracking process for DR testing and coordinate post-test issues resolution meetings
- Prepare and deliver a post-test report detailing all successes and issues encountered and remediation
- Review changes in corporate resources with the management of those areas to assure the effectiveness of the recovery procedures
- Responsible for ensuring manuals, configuration specifications, software specifications, written procedures or other information required for the execution of recovery processes are available and accurate.
- Advance the Equifax Global Business Continuity Management program through adherence to the GBCM Policy and Standards and BCD Controls
**What experience you need**
- 5+ years of Disaster Recovery experience
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP)/The BCI (MBCI, AFBCI, etc.), or willingness to obtain certification
- Project Management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems, or related field (or the equivalent in education and work experience)

- Knowledge of Business Continuity best practices and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) methodologies
- Understanding of Change Management process
