Data Platform Administrator

What you'll do:
- Manage and maintain the Business Objects platform, ensuring its availability, performance, and security.- Perform system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.- Monitor system performance and solve issues as they arise.- Administer and maintain the Qlik Sense environment, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.- Manage user access and security settings within Qlik Sense.- Monitor system performance and optimize for efficiency.- Fix and resolve technical issues related to Qlik Sense.- Design, develop, and maintain Qlik Sense dashboards and reports.- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.-
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across Business Objects and Qlik Sense platforms.- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.- Provide technical support to end-users and resolve any issues related to Business Objects and Qlik Sense.- Conduct training sessions and documentation to help users effectively use the tools.- Work closely with IT, business analysts, and other partners to understand business needs and deliver solutions.- Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field an asset.- Minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience in Business Objects administration.- Demonstrable experience with Qlik Sense and Business Objects development and administration.- Proficiency in Business Objects administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.- Strong knowledge of Qlik Sense, including data modeling, scripting, and visualization.- Experience with SQL and database management.- Familiarity with data warehousing and business intelligence concepts.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Good communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Meticulous with a focus on quality and accuracy.- Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.- Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Snowflake).- Certification in Business Objects or Qlik Sense is an asset.
