Our Assistant Retail Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting our Sales Manager in overseeing daily operations, holding standards across the store high, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

This position helps supervise a small committed staff, managing inventory, and implementing effective merchandising strategies to enhance the overall shopping experience.

**Duties**
- Assist in managing daily store operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Help train retail staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and high performance.
- Implement effective merchandising strategies to optimize product displays and drive sales.
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) systems, ensuring smooth transaction processes and cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with the Retail Sales Manager on inventory management.
- Maintain an exceptionally high standard for customer service by working with customers as they flow through our retail space.
- Support marketing initiatives to promote store events and product launches.
- Utilize strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and employee performance.

**Skills**
- Minimum 2 years experience in retail sales in a customer service industry
- Bonus for management experience with a focus on team management
- Proficiency in cashiering practices, cash handling, and financial reporting.
- Strong communication skills in English for effective collaboration with team members and customers alike.
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques that drive customer engagement and sales growth.
- A commitment to training & development initiatives that empower staff for success.

Pay: $17.00-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
