We are seeking a reliable, loving, and adaptable **live-in nanny** to join our family in beautiful Jasper, Alberta. As working parents with demanding jobs, we need someone who can be a consistent and caring presence for our children while also being flexible with their schedule. While you will have **weekday time off from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm**, we require your flexibility for morning, evening, and occasional weekend shifts as needed.

**Position Details**:

- **Live-In Arrangement**: This is a live-in position with your own private room and access to family amenities.
- **Standard Hours**: You will typically have **weekday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm off** (except when scheduled to work) to enjoy your own time.
- **Flexible Hours**: Due to our work schedules, we need someone who can work **mornings, evenings, and weekends** on a rotating or as-needed basis. This may include:

- **Mornings**: Helping the kids get ready for school, preparing breakfast, and ensuring they have everything they need for the day.
- **Evenings**: Assisting with dinner, schoolwork, and bedtime routines.
- **Weekends**: Occasional weekend shifts to help with the kids, especially if we have work commitments or need extra support.
- **Responsibilities**: Your primary responsibility will be to care for our child (Age 3), and create a safe, structured, and fun environment for them. Duties may include:

- Preparing meals and snacks
- Light housekeeping and tidying up after the children (e.g., toys, dishes)
- Organizing playdates, outings, and creative activities
- Helping with schoolwork and ensuring the kids are on track with their routines and responsibilities
- Light laundry (children’s clothes, linens)
- **Experience with Children**: Experience caring for children of similar ages is preferred, and a background in child development is a bonus.
- **Trustworthy and Responsible**: You’ll be living in our home, so we’re looking for someone who is responsible, trustworthy, and able to communicate openly with us about any needs or concerns.
- **Warm and Nurturing**: We want someone who is passionate about childcare, enthusiastic, and nurturing, with the ability to provide guidance, patience, and kindness.
- **Comfortable with a Live-In Arrangement**: This position is live-in, meaning you’ll be part of our family’s daily routine. A private room will be provided, and we value creating a supportive and welcoming environment for you as part of the household.
