**Why This Role Will Matter**

**What You’ll Be Driving**

Key responsibilities include:

- **Contractor Management**: Oversee and manage EP contractors on behalf of the client, ensuring alignment with procurement strategies, schedules, and deliverables.
- **Cross-functional Coordination**: Work closely with engineering, project controls, and construction teams to keep procurement activities on track with the overall execution plan.
- **Procurement Execution**: Take full responsibility for purchasing and expediting tasks, including issuing RFQs, evaluating bids, cutting POs, and coordinating timely material deliveries.
- **Supplier & Vendor Relations**: Maintain regular contact with vendors and contractors to resolve issues efficiently and escalate risks when necessary.
- **Performance Monitoring**: Track procurement milestones and vendor performance, ensuring contractor deliverables align with project objectives.
- **Compliance & Documentation**: Ensure proper documentation control, adhering to logistics and customs requirements.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Lead or support procurement-related meetings, representing the client during contractor coordination and performance reviews.

**What You’ll Need to Stand-out**

Core qualifications and requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

- 12+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in EPC projects.

- Strong understanding of contractor management, procurement processes, and supply chain best practices.

- Expertise in RFQ, PO issuance, vendor negotiations, and expediting.

- Familiarity with Incoterms, logistics, and customs regulations.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

**Where work will be: Onsite, South West Ontario**(specific location TBC)

- Onsite with visits to engineering offices, contractor offices and sites for walkthrough and other team meetings
