**Our Company**

Formed by two former paramedics with extensive film experience - over 30 years combined in the industry. We have grown quite rapidly in our short existence, and now we need more medics for set coverage, medical coordination, etc.

**Entertainmed Medical Services (EMS) is unique in many ways**:

- _Medics will start as a Sub Contractor, tenured workers can be moved to employee model. _
- _Employees are covered for WSIB._
- _Covered by Malpractice Insurance_
- _Provides comprehensive PCP and ACP medical directives._
- _**EMS**_ _also offers a variety of services including: Public Access Defibrillator program upkeep and installation_**, First Aid/CPR training, Event Medic services (Film and TV, sporting events, etc) COVID swabbing, COVID Supervisor, Medical Consultancy.**_

- **Opportunities**:_
- _Event medic - film, and sporting events - Respond to incidents as they occur._
- _First aid teaching_
- _Compliance officers at film shoots_
- _The position title will be: _**Primary Care Medic, Set Medic, or Prep Medic.**_
- Oversight of medical program on larger movies.
- _This position is Casual/part-time as hours CANNOT be guaranteed and vary based on the needs of the film industry._
- _Nurses are also acceptable, based on experience and abilities._

**Responsibilities**:

- _Work at film sites, and sporting events - performing actions within your scope._
- _Perform COVID rapid testing on film sets, industries, construction sites and other locations (training provided)_
- _Punctual for courses, events, and bookings_
- _Follows all EMS policy and procedures, as well as event medic policy and procedures._
- _Undertakes inventory control of stock before and after each shift._
- _Reports malfunctioning or damaged equipment._
- _Expedient response to all issues_
- _Preparing and submitting reports (PCR, Minor Injury Report, Incident Report) in a timely fashion._
- _Is presentable & willing to teach and work with our clients to provide the best care possible._
- _Follows provided dress code for all company events with provided uniform._
- _Ensuring the stocking and safeguarding of vehicles, equipment, supplies and medications by communication of low stock._
- _Signs equipment in/out for each assigned shift, using proper documentation._
- _Attends all continuing medical education days (CME), or other training days._
- _Other duties as assigned._

**Qualifications**:

- _Ontario Community College (2-year program) or Ontario Private College (1-year program) Diploma in Emergency Health Care/Paramedicine_
- _EMCA/AEMCA Certification in the Province of Ontario or in progress of obtaining AEMCA - _**AEMCA or higher ONLY for set work.**_
- _Valid CPR level C / Standard First Aid_
- _All qualifications that meet the requirements of the Ambulance Act and related Regulations including being free from communicable diseases and having a clear criminal record_
- _Ability to meet and maintain Health requirements as set by the Ambulance Act_
- _Physical ability to provide patient care. _
- _Vulnerable sector check, annually_

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 70 per week
