**Location**:
**IMPORTANT NOTICE** For the next 3-6 months, the job will be at our head office in Boucherville**, once the construction of the new site is completed, the job will be located in **Candiac**

**Role**:
In **collaboration **with the administrative team, you will be able to use your **expertise **to **manage the entire process relative to the purchasing **profession.

**Tasks**:

- Support the **purchasing strategy** (able to demonstrate the selection of a supplier)
- Define and coordinate requests for **quotes**:

- Participate in the **assessment** of the capability and capacity of a supplier
- Responsible for **supplier key performance indicators**:

- Meet your colleagues for a **coffee break** in our multifunctional cafeteria;
- Ensure adequate **supply** for the **completion of projects**:

- Participate in **meetings** with Customers (external and internal) and be able to assess the impact on supplier contracts and the **project schedule** (if request for changes)
- Participate in one (or more) **team activities**:

- Collaborate in establishing the **project budget**:

- Collaborate in **defining “key” processes** to improve **organizational performance**

**Requirements**:

- Extensive knowledge of the **local and international** supply chain
- Ability to **develop business relationships** with suppliers to facilitate negotiation
- Acute sense for **negotiation** focused on the financial performance of the company
- Ease with navigating **technical drawings** and the understanding of the material list (BOM)
- Recognized for **customer service** and **teamwork**:

- **Pro-active** and empowered to **manage risk**:

- **Bilingual** with great **communication skills**:

- Being able to identify opportunities for **business improvement**
