**Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment Mobile Technician**:
We are looking for a Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment Mobile Technician to join our Summit Truck & Equipment Repair team in the West Kootenays. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Travel to customer locations to repair and maintain heavy duty equipment.
- Analyze customers' equipment performance complaints, diagnose cause of any malfunctions and performs repairs.
- Communicate effectively with the parts department to obtain required parts.
- Inspect equipment to assess if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
- Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
- Test equipment as required.
- Maintain company service truck, ensuring it is kept clean and in good repair.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**:
As a member of the Summit team, we expect you bring the following to the table:

- Red Seal Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment Technician ticket
- Experience in logging and forestry heavy equipment repairs
- Class 5 driver's licence and clean abstract
- Team player who can share his knowledge by teaching and coaching junior Mechanics
- Strong communication skills
