**Summary of Responsibilities**

As Product Line Manager, ATV and Side by Side, you will be actively involved with all aspects of Yamaha ATV and Side by Sides including product planning, sales strategy, program creation & implementation. You will provide direction for ATV & SxS marketing, product training and accessory development.

Your primary objective is to lead all ATV and Side by Side initiatives from end to end across the organization and drive growth for this category.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
- **Product Planning**
- Represent Yamaha as lead contact in working with Yamaha Motor Corporation (YMC) and other Yamaha distributors on an ongoing basis during new model development. Participate in product validation, marketing planning and execution of new models.
- Perform specific market research, analysis and reports which include detailed competitive analysis of pricing, features & benefits that support the positioning of our current & new models.Develop a high level of product knowledge and market information that can assist in the positioning of key models. Prepare and present educational training materials for Dealers, Field Staff and media that support new product introductions.
- **Strategic Planning**
- Implement Territory Strategic Planning (TSP) to maximize dealer engagement and expand market presence. Jointly develop sales targets with the Director to ensure clear expectations to National Field Manager.
- Assist in building sales strategies to complement Yamaha’s corporate objectives.Focus on sustainable profitability by reducing promotional expense and adding value to Yamaha ownership.
- **Organizational Support**
- Develop close working relationship with Parts & Accessories Department and initiate increased competitive 4-season accessories for customers with potential for local development.
- Support and direct Marketing Coordinators at various Media & PR Events, Consumer shows, and Content Creation as required.
- **Sales Programs**
- Develop and create all ATV and Side by Side sales programs (Wholesale & Retail) to ensure target and profitability achievement.
- Ensure vetting and support to marketing post program launch.

**Education Requirements and/or Experience Requirements**
- **Degree/Diploma**:Post-secondary, university preferred
- **Program of Study**:Sales, marketing, business related
- **Years of Experience**:Minimum 10+ years
- **Type of Experience**:Sales & Marketing, ATV & SxS

**Skills & Abilities**
- In depth market and riding experience, industry and technical knowledge and relationships
- Strategic self-starter with strong program management skills
- Ability to lead change and act as a change agent
- Ability to identify, prioritize and articulate highest impact initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence both internal and external
- Strong business and financial acumen; develops and manages budgets responsibly; demonstrates ability to read and interpret financial and sales data
- Strategic planning and sales skills and the ability to work across departments to achieve objectives

**Travel and Overtime Requirements**
- Occasional national travel within Canada
- Occasional travel internationally
