Blüm Childcare Academy is a Montessori and Reggio-inspired early learning environment dedicated to nurturing each student’s sense of wonder, belonging, and curiosity. We are seeking a **full-time Level 3 Early Childhood Educator** to join our **Toddler Community** at our Tuxedo campus. This is a special opportunity for an Educator who thrives in guiding our youngest learners through their earliest steps of independence and discovery.

About the Role

As a **Toddler Educator**, you will create a warm, secure, and engaging environment where students feel safe to explore, connect, and grow. You will play a central role in supporting early milestones—language development, self-help skills, social connection, and the joyful beginnings of independence. In addition, as a Level 3 Educator, you will serve as a mentor and leader within your classroom team, helping ensure our program’s high standards are consistently upheld.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create a nurturing, responsive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for toddlers
- Guide daily routines such as toileting, eating, and rest times with patience and care
- Implement Montessori and Reggio-inspired learning experiences that foster curiosity, creativity, and independence
- Observe, document, and communicate student growth through Blüm’s Learning Story approach
- Support and mentor classroom team members, modeling best practices and collaboration
- Build trusting relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Ensure compliance with Alberta Child Care Licensing regulations and uphold Blüm’s standards of excellence

**Qualifications**:

- Alberta Child Development Supervisor (Level 3) Certification
- Demonstrated passion for working with toddlers and a strong understanding of early development
- Experience in Montessori, Reggio Emilia, or emergent curriculum approaches is an asset
- Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
- Current First Aid/CPR and clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.50-$19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
