A & L provides reliable, comprehensive and effective services for analytical testing. Our Environmental division provides inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, general chemistry, microbiology and pesticide analysis using state of the art technology and methodology.

A & L Canada Laboratories Inc. is currently seeking an Laboratory Technician in our Cannabis Lab who will be responsible to ensure timely and quality results of the tests; full implementation and compliance with the quality control program, adherence to all health & safety and lean programs to result in accurate, efficiently produced, reliable test results delivered on time for optimum customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**:

- Follows lab protocols to carry out samples preparation, analysis and reporting, and ensures quality results are met;
- Able to troubleshoot instrumentation and analytical issues;
- Writes SOPs, test methods as required;
- Observes and supports all safety guidelines and regulations;
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Successful completion of Chemical Laboratory Technician diploma or similar program
- Cannabis Labratory testing would be an asset
- Good knowledge and experience using a variety of techniques and instrumentation such as ICP-MS, LECO, and wet chemistry techniques considered an asset;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Possess a positive work ethic with team-based attitude;
- Willing to be flexible in job duties;
- Excellent communication skills
- written and verbal.
