**Canada’s Music Incubator - CMI Live - Artist Liaison**

**Job Description**:
CMI Live is looking to hire a summer student for their Artist Liaison position. This individual would attend CMI’s summer live events programming in downtown Toronto.

Responsibilities would include;
- Ensuring artists are arriving onsite at scheduled times. Following up with artist and their teams as they are arriving on site
- Following the confirmed schedule to make sure the set up / soundcheck is on time
- Ensuring the artist begins performance on time, and following the confirmed performance schedule (monitoring artist break times)
- Monitoring noise levels during the performance, (connecting with the audio technician if required)

**Requirements**:

- A desire to work in the live events industry
- Attention to detail
- Strong communicator
- A quick thinker, ability to solve problems on your feet
- Audio technical knowledge consider an asset

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $50.00 per day

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- music/media industry: 1 year (preferred)
